How Arasys works
The Arasys system pulses for 20 minutes to allow the muscles to take in oxygen and release waste. The muscle contractions are the same as reached through isometric exercise, and help drain the lymph system as well as working on cellulite and muscle tone in the same way as exercise would. There are no cardiovascular effects however, and as the intensity increases you should be able to see the muscles contracting.
Even someone who exercises regularly can benefit from the Arasys System; it has an advantage over exercise in that it also isolates the lazy muscles such as the inner thigh and really works those areas. With weights and exercise it is very difficult to give the muscles an exact and controlled stimulation, and the Arasys achieves a regulated pulse which causes a contraction far stronger than a simple twitch that would be achieved under normal exercise. It might take 2-3 hours in the gym to attain the same effects that can be gained in one Arasys session.

- How does it work?
We only work on the areas that you want to concentrate on. We put pads on those areas which send a current to the muscles to stimulate them. It works in the same way as exercise and you can actually see the muscles contract.
- How often should I use it?
Ideally the whole course of 12 should be completed in four weeks. The treatments should be every other day.
- How much will I lose?
On average you can expect to lose 9inches. We measure before your first treatment and after your last treatment.
- Should I do a whole course?
To maximise results and maintain them you should do a course of 12. If you only do two or three it is like working out at the gym 5 or 6 times – you need to go regularly to see a lasting difference.
- Do I need to diet?
If you simply wish to tone and shape then dieting is not necessary. If however you wish to reduce your size then you will maximise the effects by eating carefully and cutting out high calorie foods.
- What do I need to bring?
If you wish you may bring a change of underwear as the pads are damp.
- How long is a session?
The treatment takes 20 minutes, so allow 30 minutes in total for preparation at the beginning and getting ready again at the end.
